I remember there were times in my life were I suffered from depression. I was crying a lot, didnโt have any friends, drinking alcohol, and feeling very hurt and confused. This is not a good recipe for success in life. Therefore, I needed a quick change because I hate losing.
So, I visited my doctor, and he prescribed the latest anti-depressant on the market. I decided to take this medicine but it didnโt go well with me. I felt really strange and could hardly sleep. My emotions were being tattered with by this little blue pill and I didnโt like it because I like having complete self-control.
Well, I gave up the drugs and decided to make a move across the country from New Orleans to Los Angeles. Sometimes you need to change your environment to escape deadly depression, but not always.
There was another time when I was depressed, and I simply started watching sermons from an evangelist on TV Jesse Duplantis who tells lots of funny stories that made me laugh while preaching the word of God through Jesus Christ. Hearing Godโs words and these humorous plots did wonders to lift my depression as well as save my soul.
Another way to end depression is to go out and help others. Thereโs always someone worse off than you, and when you help them you are helping yourself. Go volunteer at your local charity or give some money away to benefit a worthy cause. Youโre lending to the Lord, so Heโll pay you back. Plus, youโll feel a whole lot better!
Love healing hearts,
