Rest I wish I could turn myself inside out, Then you would see my heart, And I know I am just as beautiful as you are. I donโt have long hair, nor am I skinny and tall, but I have a love that conquers all. Maybe you will think I am pretty if I donโt eat. Maybe then you would recognize me, Make my joy complete. Maybe if I was raised in a beautiful family, With riches and material things, You would love me. Maybe not, maybe so, I think itโs time for me to go. Iโll say good-bye, at least, I tried to win you know. My affection is desperation, to be loved to be cherished, to be or not to be, That is the question. Will I perish? God says no, Heโll hold me in his arms, While I lay on His breast. Then Heโll tell me, I am so beautiful, The best, Daughter under the heavens, Then Iโll rest.
Love healing hearts,
