Stigmatized!
Through everyone’s eyes,
Even mine.
Torn!
I’m black and I’m shamed,
By you, by me, by everyone you see.
Unless I survive,
Higher than life,
I’m nothing,
Less than nothing.
You can’t understand how I feel.
I love you,
I don’t love you.
Hurt I would be if I even conceived,
The idea!
What’s the idea between us?
A little sex between us,
That’s all.
It couldn’t be much more.
Stigmatized!
For my life.
How will I ever
Rise,
Rise,
Rise,
To the occasion.
What is the occasion?
It’s always the same,
Black,
Girl,
Whore,
Nigger,
In a white world.
That’s not how I feel!
I’m not so cynical…
But I cannot resist these feelings around me
Love healing hearts,
