Kiss

You remind me of a familiar scene

Something before I had seen

Like a child, playing, wishing, asking, praying

Why would I return to you when you don’t love me?

Why would I give you my body?

You hate me. The feeling’s mutual.

Youtube is the way to go

Out of me, out of my stomach, out of my hair

Oh, I have grief to bear

Instead of wine

I’ll bask in the rain of my pain

Instead of shame

I’ll make you lame

Unable to penetrate me

You have no authority!

FLEE!

To the coast where you will

See the Ghost so holy

Hear his choice calling

Like the voice falling on many waters

Who would bother chlorinated bliss

Oh, the salty sea is what I miss

Hiss, hiss, hiss away

Kiss, kiss, kiss the sun today

Love healing hearts,

Shirah Chante
