Ministry of Reconciliation

Do you know that you might have the ministry of reconciliation? Yep! As a believer in Christ, we all do. “And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18). I would like to take a shot at explaining to you the concept of reconciliation. I just might slam dunk or simply shoot a lay-up. Either way, two points more can even the score in any relationship.

Reconciliation means focus on improving yourself so that you will be a more compatible mate for your spouse. It’s doing those special things you know he likes, helping him to accomplish a goal, or just plain ole spending quality time with him and him alone.

Reconciliation does not mean trying to fix everything that’s wrong with your mate, pointing out all his faults and weaknesses in the guise of helping him. Be consistent in your love for him by letting go of blame, accusation, and especially nagging.

Reconciliation. Work on yourself and rest of the relationship will fall in place.

Love healing hearts,
