Talk the Talk, Walk the Walk

“Faith without works is dead” (James 2:26). “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). What does all this mean? I was blessed with a very grave lesson in faith. I love to pray, and the Holy Spirit often gives me visions of people to pray for, so I pray for them whatever the Holy Spirit leads me to pray. Being led by the Holy Spirit of God and being sensitive to His voice is another lesson in itself.

I was praying for one little girl to be saved from a certain relationship that was harmful to her, but I did not say anything to this girl personally. I thought praying for her was enough, but it wasn’t. I needed to express the word of knowledge and wisdom the Holy Spirit had given me to this person. Because of my lack of deliverance of the message, this girl suffered greatly and so did I because of my negligence, because of my fear; but I have since repented of this grave sin. Now I know there is no one to fear but God. Jesus Christ says, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear Him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell” (Matthew 10:28).

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7). The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).We are responsible for spreading the knowledge of the Lord to the world if you are indeed a Christian soul.
