Let this poem be
The closure we both need
What we had we’ll never recover
But our memories will last forever
You’ve moved on had a family too
I’ve made it out of relationship zoo
I don’t want to return, do you?
I didn’t think so
So it’s time to let go
Let go of the good feelings we shared
Let go of how much we crazy cared
Phew! That’s a relief.
You got beef? Well so do I!
I’m not with that other guy
It doesn’t matter anymore
I’m out the door of your life
Your wife there’s no need for a knife
I’m healed and my nose is too
I’m chilled and warmed up to you
Let bygones be bygones
Let’s create new memories
Full of faith and family
Yours mine our friendship entwines
