Finding and Strengthening Your Faith Through Song

Welcome to this space where I’m all about building lasting relationships full of love and peace. I’m Shirah Chanté, Relationship Artist, blending coaching and creativity to craft connections that endure. Today, I want to share something personal with you, a journey through my songwriting process that signifies the theme of faith and the power of divine connection.

Song Meaning Beyond Myself

Let me take you to the heart of my latest composition, a song titled “48.” It’s more than just a melody. It involves faith and discovery. This song started as a personal momento about me turning 48, and well, I was determined to release it before I turned 49. But as the years passed, the song found new meaning beyond myself, transforming into a love song from God to the people of Israel, rooted in the rebirth of the nation in 1948.

Revelation from Prayer Mountain

I remember visiting  Prayer Mountain in California, surrounded by fellow worshippers of God, and feeling a divine whisper. God told us “It’s dangerous close to me.” The truth is that embracing the divine stirs up both danger and protection, kind of like being caught in a holy crossfire. It’s risky, but the rewards far outweigh the fears. The song I wrote speaks to those experiences, blending personal insights with biblical prophecies. It’s about seeing signs, sensing danger, and choosing to stand with God. There’s this line in the song that says, “You belong to me,” which is Father God talking to the children of Israel. Being close to God may be risky, but well worth it.

Aliyah

Now, let me share a little more about a previous version of the song that inspired today’s title for  Relationship Rock podcast. In this version’s chorus “48, found my fate,” I saw the children of Israel rediscovering their identity and how faith intertwines with fate. Did you ever come across the term “Aliyah”? It’s the return of the children of Israel to Israel, a theme recurrent since their rebirth as a nation in 1948.

This journey resonates with numerous biblical prophecies such as those found in Jeremiah 30:3 and Ezekiel 11:17. These scriptures speak of a divine return and a promise fulfilled, and it is happening right now in our contemporary culture of war. Let’s pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and have faith.

Peace in Chaos

I want to encourage you to delve into the Bible, to understand these ever-relevant words. I’ve been in the scriptures since 1998, and let me tell you, there’s a wealth of wisdom there. It’s the compass that can guide you through the world’s chaos, keeping you anchored in peace. All you gotta do is open it up and read. Let God speak to you through His holy word.

Thank you for joining me today, sharing in this narrative of faith and divine love. Remember, in times of unrest and uncertainty, it’s finding closeness with God that grants us enduring peace. Love God, embrace yourself, and extend that love to others. Let’s keep the conversation going, leave a comment or a thought, and let’s continue to build relationships that last.

Until next time, be blessed. I’ll keep singing my song of faith.
God bless, Shirah Chante, Relationship Artist
