This is when I love to warn people about childhood sexual abuse. I was a victim of childhood sexual abuse via incest. Incest. I wrote a children’s book about incest called The Evil Dad you can go to Amazon, search Shirah Chante, and look it up. It’s a good book to read with your children. These are things we should be teaching one another. You need to teach children what incest is. You need to teach them who predators are so they can be aware. You might think, “Oh, this is just a little child.” Yes, and those are the ones predators go after.
I taught my children about predators from a young, young, young age, and I still do. Whenever I get a chance, I say, “Be careful. Watch out for these people, those people.” Because I understand. I’ve gone through it. I’ve seen it. It affected my life in such a way that it really upsets me. It is not right to offend a little child. Number one, they don’t have the power to refuse you. It is such a crime. And if it’s someone in your family, a father molesting his daughter, it’s a double manipulation, a double crime. Not only statutory rape, but incest according to the Word of God.
Leviticus 18:6 says, “None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness. I am the Lord.” Anyone near of kin to you, your relatives, you shall not have sex with your relatives. He says, “I am the Lord.” If you consider yourself a believer in Christ, you are not to be having sex with your relatives. Period. Taking advantage of little children that come out of your own body, my God, what has the world come to?
And this is another thing about sexual abuse. There are so many people in the world willing to have sex freely. But because you are evil, you go after this little child sitting on your couch. And Jesus said, if your hand offends you, cut it off. If your foot offends you, cut it off. If your eye offends you, pluck it out. It is better to enter life maimed than to go into hell where the fire is not quenched. That is not my opinion, that is the Lord Jesus Christ speaking.
For children who have been molested, raped, abused, Lord, thank you for rescuing them. Just like You freed me from sexual abuse, free others. It is not Jesus’ fault that you were molested. It is the fault of the person who committed the crime. God never wanted little children to be sexually abused. Never. And He will judge. But don’t go to hell with them by holding unforgiveness in your heart against God because God never wanted this for you.
God bless, Shirah Chante, your relationship coach
