I’m so happy to share with you a special message from my Teens Draw Near to God poetry podcast. This podcast helps teenagers and their parents get closer to God. So, grab a cozy spot because we’re about to dive into a wonderful poem called “God’s Plan”.
Getting Closer to God
Let’s start with something really important: drawing near to God. You might ask, “How do I do that?” Well, it’s like getting to know a good friend. When you spend time with your friend, you want to be around them more. It’s the same with God! When you show God that you want to be his friend by spending time reading the Bible, praying, and thinking about Him, He gets closer to you too!
God is always with us, even if it doesn’t feel that way sometimes. It’s like when you text a friend and they don’t reply right away. It can feel like they’re not there. But God is different. He’s always listening, and He’s always near, even if we don’t feel it.
Trusting God’s Plan
Today’s poem, “God’s Plan,” talks about trusting God even when things don’t seem right. We all have days when we’re scared or things aren’t going our way. But God wants to see if we’ll stick with Him, even on tough days. When you trust God, He’s like a light in the darkness. He helps you through hard times and brings good out of the bad.
A Story to Share
I want to share a personal story with you. Once, I went on a really scary rollercoaster. It made me feel awful, and I wondered why I ever got on it! Sometimes life feels like that rollercoaster, doesn’t it? We go through ups and downs. But just like in my story, we have to trust that after the scary part, there’s something better. God has a plan for us, and it’s a good one.
Fight the Good Fight
The poem tells us to run, which means to keep going and don’t give up. Life can be tough, and sometimes things like sickness or troubles can try to stop us. But remember, you’re strong, and you can keep running towards God and His love.
You Can Make a Difference
Even when the world seems dark, you can be a light. By staying close to God and following His plan, you can make your world brighter. And guess what? You’re not alone! God promises to be with you every step of the way. I created a Relationship Rescue Plan to help you in dark times see the light.
Let’s Keep Running Together
Before we finish, I want you to know that you can run this race with confidence. God loves you, and He has a special plan for you. So don’t give up, even when things are hard. And remember, you can always talk to God. He’s listening and ready to help.
