It sounds so mystical. Right? I’m talking about transcendence. The movement from one kingdom to another. More specifically, transcendence is the spiritual migration from darkness to light. The whole world lies in wickedness. You can see the darkness everywhere you go everyday, the mass shootings, child abductions, depression and suicide.
What makes this world livable? The apparent disparity amongst the people is a huge factor of liveability. I once heard a lady respond to a friend who asked her “how’s it going” with “everything’s good.” I thought to myself, “how could she possibly come to this conclusion that everything is good unless in her sphere of living, the reality she was experiencing was extravagant compared to most people in the world.
Unfortunately, these people who are in a state of “everything’s good” are usually the ones dictating the verse of humanity daily through the media, news, and various other outlets. The spectrum of existence is vastly skewed by these “everything’s gooders”. They do not take into account the masses dying daily because it is of no consequence to them so they think.
However, humanity is linked to each other in an amazing way by universal laws of physics. What goes up must come down. Every object in motion remains in motion unless acted upon by an equal and opposite force. Everything you do will come back to you. Every word you say may not go away. Jesus said it like this, “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”
Transcendence is the way out of this hell hole called earth. I don’t mean to sound cynical, but I am speaking for the “everything’s not so gooders”. I am speaking for the mother who lost her baby, the family who died in a car accident, the neighbor that is mentally challenged and demonically possessed. Like the demoniac, that neighbor needs to meet Jesus amongst the tombs of death and gain life forevermore. We all will meet Jesus eventually, but what if everything could really be good despite your outward circumstances? What if life could be livable because you have an inner witness inside that gives you peace with society?
That inner witness is the Holy Spirit, and he wants to make you his home. He wants to shed abroad the love of God into your heart and give you peace that surpasses all understanding that will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Will you come? Let him in. Let him transcend your reality until everything’s good with you. Say, “Lord Jesus, I believe in you. I believe you died for me. I believe you rose again. I believe you sent the Holy Spirit to the earth after you ascended to heaven to show us the way to the cross, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sin and the salvation of the soul. Save my soul. Holy Spirit, help me be the one where you can find a home. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.”
