So I have this question here and it says to what shall I compare the people of this generation? That’s a question directly from the Bible. In Matthew chapter 11, verse 16, and in Luke chapter seven, verse 31, to what shall I compare the people of this generation? What are they like?
And so I, what I’m wanting you to do in this Rescue Plan is to ask that question to yourself. What are the people of this generation like? But put that toward the person who you are desiring to date. What is he like? What can I compare him to? What can I compare her to? What is she like? Do I like that comparison? Is that an accurate comparison?
Do I even know what he likes? Do I even know him well enough to know what he likes? And if I don’t, then perhaps I should find out what do you like? Hey, what do you like? Do you like this? Do you like that? Do you like spaghetti? Small talk. You need to find out what they’re like. What are they like?
We need to know what people are like so that we can know how to deal with them, so we can be effective with them in a relationship. We need to know what the devil is like so that we can ward him off so that we can fight against him and pray against his devices. We need to know. What people are like.

P.S. This is just one portion of a much fuller conversation. In the complete Love Is in the Air Q&A, I expand on how to slow down, ask the right questions, and avoid rushing into something that looks good but isn’t aligned. I think you’ll really appreciate hearing the entire teaching when you get a chance.
