The Lord asked me in a dream, “Why did you remarry?”
And I was shocked. All I could say was, “Lord, I had to. I just had to.”
He already knew the answer, but He wanted me to confess it. To say it out loud. To bring it into the light.
Tonight, I ask that same question to women all over the world who are remarried. Why did you remarry?
Maybe you didn’t want to be alone. Maybe you needed companionship, love, touch, safety. God understands that. But He still invites us to come boldly to His throne—to confess, to repent, and to receive mercy.
Lord, forgive us for remarrying outside of Your will. And bless us anyway. Bless us in our new marriages. Let us be loved again—better than before.
God bless, Shirah Chante, your relationship coach
P.S. Don’t stop here. The full Midnight Prayer: Repentance for Remarriage message carries a weight and an anointing that can be captured. If you are seeking forgiveness, clarity, or peace, I encourage you to listen to the entire prayer and bring it before the Lord.
