In this week’s episode of my Relationship Rock podcast, I shared the tagline of my prophetic love song “48,” a song the Lord gave me as a message of hope and identity for the children of Israel. In this blog post, I want to give you a deeper look into the meaning behind those words. After you read, be sure to listen to the full episode for the spiritual insights and inspiration that go along with the song.
I want to share a song that I wrote called “48.” It’s a love song from God to the children of Israel, and I shared the tagline to my song on my podcast, Relationship Rock.
Here’s the tagline:
It’s not too late.
Drop every weight.
Rise above the hate.
Remember 48.
My love is great.
My love is great.
I just want to talk a little bit about the meaning of this tagline.
It’s Not Too Late. Drop Every Weight.
This comes from a scripture in Hebrews 12:1, which says:
“Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.”
As we journey through this life and await the Messiah’s return, let us prepare ourselves to meet Him by dropping all the extra baggage from our lives — in our hearts, souls, minds, and deeds. Let’s clean up our act, so to speak, and let the Messiah meet someone who is ready and worthy to be met — someone doing their best to walk in the footsteps of the Lord, of God, of Jesus Christ.
It’s not too late. Drop every weight.
Rise Above the Hate.
I know there’s a lot of hate in today’s world. People hate you if you don’t look like them, act like them, or believe like them. It’s a phenomenon that’s not new, but it seems to be rising. There’s more impatience and intolerance for people who are different, and that’s both threatening and sad.
But rise above that hate. Continue to love others. Continue to love your neighbor, to love your brother, to love your sister.
It’s not too late. Rise above the hate.
Remember 48. My Love Is Great.
“Remember 48” refers to the year 1948 — when the nation of Israel was miraculously reborn. The children of Israel once again had a homeland. This was a fulfillment of prophecy — a miraculous deed foretold in the book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 66:8 says:
“Who hath heard such a thing? Who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.”
Remember that when you’re feeling down, and when people rise up to take your land away. God gave you this land, and it shall be yours for an everlasting possession. God will make a way and work a miracle for you to keep your land.
His love is great. God’s love is great. And He loves you very much.
God bless, Shirah Chante, Your Relationship Coach
