I’m here to help you open your heart and learn to love again. This week’s lesson might make you raise an eyebrow,it’s all about Wives Obey. Now, I know it doesn’t sound glamorous, but stick with me. There’s a beautiful secret hidden in obedience.
You see, back in 2010, God gave me a mission to help His people with relationships. So, let’s go. Obedience often gets overlooked amidst talks about grace, mercy, and favor. Yet, it’s a mighty tool, especially when it comes to activating favor in your life.
Take Queen Esther, for example. She was incredibly obedient to her Uncle Mordecai, which helped her find favor in the palace. You might not immediately connect obedience to favor, but obedience activates favor.
Now, speaking directly to you, let’s talk about what the scripture says. Ephesians 5:22 says, “Wives, submit to your own husbands as to the Lord.” Think of it as obeying your husband just as you would listen to Jesus. It gets easier when your husband follows God too, right?
However, if you find yourself in a marriage where your husband’s faith isn’t strong, focus on following God and obeying your husband. You might be amazed at how your obedience can be a powerful witness, possibly leading him closer to Christ without a single nagging word from you.
The Bible highlights that it’s often a wife’s behavior and attitude that brings her husband to faith, not preaching or nagging (1 Peter 3:1). When he notices your respectful and loving behavior, it can inspire him to change. You win him over with your actions, not words.
Remember, as it says in Ephesians 5:22, “Wives, submit to your husband as to the Lord.” This could be the key to unlocking more blessing and love in your relationship. As the week wraps up and you head into the weekend, try adding a little obedience to the mix and watch what happens to your love life.
I’m praying for you, that God grants you the spirit of obedience and fills your marriage with a supernatural annointing of love. If you need more guidance, check out my Relationship Rescue Plan by clicking here.
